A Long Lost Friend Contact

Yesterday, I received a surprise email from a friend I made in Australia back in 2016. In the email she asked about how I am as well as giving me an update of her life since she is not on social media. It’s good to hear that she has been safe from covid so far too.
Then today on social media, a trending news article about how Covid has helped to rekindle previously long lost or broken friendships appeared on my newsfeed. Feeling mixed about it. I so wish this is true for me.
Meanwhile I should go back to play my video games.
